Tuna Pancakes

Tuna Pancakes

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 can of tuna (when drained it should be 140-150 grams (5oz))
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1-2 tbs whole wheat flour
DIRECTIONS:
  1. Drain the can of tuna using a strainer.
  2. Squeeze the tuna with your hands to release excess liquid. 
  3. Transfer tuna to a bowl.
  4. Finely chop onion and garlic.
  5. Add to bowl.
  6. Crack egg into the bowl.
  7. Add salt, pepper, and flour.
  8. Use a fork to mix everything together.
  9. Heat a pan on high heat and grease with ghee.
  10. Use a tablespoon to scoop the mixture, forming six cakes, onto the pan.
  11. When the bottom is golden brown flip the cakes and cook on other side.
